Pastry Cream

Salam kulinari, pada musim2 cuti ini memang sesuai untuk mencuba pelbagai jenis resepi utk dinikmati bersama keluarga tersayang. Krim pastri merupakan resipi yg nak dikongsi kerana ia sgt sedap dan sesuai dijadikan sebagai inti atau filling krim puff mahupun tartlet. Anda juga boleh padankannya dengan apa sahaja masakan yg anda rasakan sesuai.

Ingredients                             

Milk-1liter                    
Sugar-125g  
Egg yolks-75g(4yolks)
Whole eggs-110g(2eggs)
Cornstarch-75g
Sugar-125g  
Butter-60g
Vanilla extract-15ml  

Procedure -

-In heavy saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the milk and bring just to a boil
-with a whip, beat the egg yolks and whole eggs in a stainless steel bowl
-sift the cornstarch and sugar into the eggs. Beat with the whip until smooth.
-temper the egg mixture.
-return to the heat and bring to a boil.
-when the mixture thickens, remove from heat.
-stir the butter and vanilla.
-dust lightly with sugar and cover with waxed paper to prevent a crust.cool n chill.
